The adventure began with our first flight being quite delayed, so those among us who like to fuss had lots of fodder for their fussing because it was really going to be a dash through the Minneapolis airport to be able to make our next flight. So Phil was relieved to be able to book us on another flight much later, while not giving up our places on the earlier flight.
It turned out that we didn't need the later booking because we ran from one gate to another and made it in the nick of time, thanks to them holding the flight a few minutes. This old lady was huffing and puffing but very thankful to make it rather than wait about six hours in the Minneapolis airport.
We arrived in Spokane and rented a vehicle and drove on down to meet our week-old grandson.
One happy granny!
